HomeMy WebLinkAboutHARMONY RIDGE PUD, PHASE ONE - FINAL - 49-95B - CORRESPONDENCE - (6)Oct. 26, 1997 "THE RIDGE" clo Steve Howard Savings Building 125 South Howes St. Fort Collins, CO RE: THE RIDGE & HARMONY RIDGE. Reviewing common boundary interactions Steve, We believe that the architectural characteristics of THE RIDGE and HARMONY RIDGE are very similar. Therefore to blend and lessen any noticeable line of boundary between the two developments, we would like to tighten up on the following items that we have discussed over the past year or so. We are willing to do as many of the following items as we can agree upon to help the esthetics of the two developments and blend to transition of the two. 11 Install a 2-3 foot berm centered on the common property line, This would run from the church property corner to the bike path connection. The width would be approximately 20', 10' on each development. 2] The berm could continuing run north from the church's SE corner totally in THE RIDGE open area if desired. 31 The berm does not have to look like a uniform embankment from your side. It has the potential to rise and fall,7 sweep in and out in your open area to provide added interest. Trees planted in this area could add a pleasant buffering environment. 41 Dirt may be available to provide you with berms on your green common areas to provide privacy and interest from the Harmony Road view. We would deliver and grade to your satisfaction. 51 A split wood rail fence will be installed from the church corner south along on the common property line on top of the berm. Please reply as soon as possible on as many of the suggestions as your group would like to have implemented. Plans will soon be resubmitted to the City and having notes to the above items would tend to ensure their final installation.
