RE; TRIANGULAR PARCEL between new Harmony Road Alignment and Harmony Ridge
The Owners of HARMONY RIDGE and Myself have never considered the triangular
piece of ground created by the realignment of Harmony Road on the north and HARMONY
RIDGE on the south to be available to be utilized by the Harmony Ridge PUD. It is my under-
standing that there is still consideration being given to possible uses of this parcel after a recent
meeting with the planner and owners of this piece of ground. Consequently we do not feel that we
have any obligation for either the Harmony Road improvements or improvements to the street to
the west that are adjacent to this parcel. We do not have any interest in purchasing this piece of
ground.
If the owners of this northern piece of ground decided that they do not have a use for this
parcel, and/or it is acquired by the city through gift or sale, then the owners of Harmony Ridge,
may be willing to discuss some form of participation in the development of the parcel for the use
as a public transportation stop or in the landscaping. Other suggested participation would
considered? If some such interaction developed, it might be reasonable that we be deeded back.
the full width of the abandoned Old Harmony Road right-of-way that abuts this piece of ground.
RE; SIDEWALKS BOTH SIDES of all Public streets
'There are two streets that we feel would function well without sidewalks on both sides of
the pavement. Street A -A" (sm Preliminary Plan) is not a street as such in the fact that it does not
have any living units that have their address facing on this drive. Rather this drive functions more
like a alley or a access way to the rear of some living units. Therefore the acess drive being on the
side of a hill and not being used as a primary access to living units, we would like to request that
sidewalk not be required but on one side of the lower half on this street.
On street B-B^(See Preliminary Plan) we be believe that sidewalk on only the west side
would function best. No parking on the east side of the street would not require a sidewalk and
the absence of sidewalk on this side would allow for more of a landscaping buffer between the
different densities of housing types.
Respectfully,,
