The plan is to convert the existing center into a "big box" retail center, with the four large retail tenants ranging in size from 19,000 square feet to 38,000 square feet. There will be small retail shops, for five tenants, attached to the existing south wall of the King Soopers Grocery Store. The plan includes some landscape improvements to the parking lots on the east and west side of the center. The existing King Soopers is approximately 50,000 square feet in size and is not included in the four "new" large retail users. The SteinMart Clothing Store is currently operating in the Tenant `C' space (please see attached Site Plan) of the center. The existing Bennigan's Restaurant pad site and the vacant pad site that previously housed a Skipper's Restaurant (the building has recently been torn down) are part of this PUD and redevelopment plan. We are hearing that a bank wants to develop on the vacant site. The existing McDonald's Restaurant site and the now -vacant Montgomery Wards building and parking lot are not part of this redevelopment plan.
