Dear Resident
On Thursday, February 15, 1996 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church* which
is on the northwest corner of S. Lemay Avenue and Harmony Road, the City of Fort Collins Planning
Department will conduct a neighborhood information meeting to discuss a proposal for a development
in your neighborhood.
The potential developer is proposing a residential project (tentatively named The Greens at Collindale
P.U.D.) that may contain approximately 38 single-family attached homes, to be built as two- and four-
plexes, on 6.5 acres. The property is located between the Collindale Golf Course (to the north and
west), the Golden Meadows subdivision (to the south), and S. Lemay Avenue (to the east). The area
is surrounded by existing single family homes to the west (Harbor Walk) and the south.
No formal development review request has been made to the City at this time and no decisions will
result from this meeting. The potential developer will give a presentation of their plans in order to get
ideas, concerns, and general feedback from the local residents. A representative of the City Planning
Department will be present to respond to questions about City policies and regulations and to take
minutes of the meeting.
A list of affected property owners for this public information meeting is derived from official records
of the Larimer County Assessor. Because of the lag time between home occupancy and record keeping,
or because of rental situations, a few affected property owners may have been missed. Please feel free
to notify your neighbor of this pending meeting so that all neighbors may have the opportunity to attend.
