This letter is to confirm the required information for final approval of the above -referenced
Project and the process to be used for the same.
It was agreed that, although the change to a school use would require a major amendment
process, the final documents could be reviewed under the City's new process for minor amendments.
To summarize, that process included the filing of six copies of required documents with a conceptual
review on one of three Mondays (probably August 6"). A one -week notice would be required with
a staff decision within two weeks thereafter (assuming no problems or issues). Notice would then
be given of an administrative hearing (approximately 2)/2. weeks), with a decision rendered within ten
days of the hearing.
Information to be provided for final approval includes:
(I) Number ofpreschool children along with the new location and size of the playground;
(2) Addendum to the Traffic Study analyzing internal traffic circulation, including pick-up
and drop-off needs;
(3) A condition regarding prohibited uses in the proposed building;
