It seems like the pond volume is not being increased instead a variance request for a lower freeboard is
being requested. This is the 3rd time a variance request is being sought on this site, ratjer than trying to meet
criteria. Either justify the variance request better to meet at least the 9" freeboard as previously.

Relocate the handicap parking near the entrance of the school to the south in order to reduce the number
of drive aisle crossings for people. (see red lines)

Identify the student pick-up and drop-off points on the site plan. Provide a street striping plan for the internal
circulation.

Increase the width of the sidewalks to six feet for the main pedestrian entrance from Hickory along the drive
aisle to the entrance, also where car overhang exists, and to increase the seperation between students and
vehicles in the pick-up and drop-off area. (see red lines)

The hearing is set for December 10th at 4:00 p.m. at 281 North College. All of these comments from all
departments will need to be resolved prior to recording the mylars. The staff signing of Utility Plan revisions
should be coordinated with Dave Stringer, Site Plan, Landscape Plan, and Elevation mylars will need to be
provided to directly to me.

Extend the Lilacs aroundthe corner in the parking lot island to minimize the visual connection between the
existing industrial uses and the school use. See redlines.

Submit 3 copies of blue prints of the original approved landscape plan showing clouded areas in red where

The site plan needs to show the treatment of the drive aisle barrier area between the existing building's
vehicular area and the new building's vehicular area the same way as it is shown on the Utility Plan. This is the
area where vehicles are not allowed, but the plastic bollards will need to be in place so fire truck access can
use the connection.

The drive aisle width shown as 12 feet wide needs to be widened to a minimum of 20 feet in width.

Have issue with size of radii being proposed for Fire Lane. Fire engine turning template does allow for truck to
make turns without running over curbs and landscaping. Also need to look at no parking area at western
end of building to mid way point. Appears to be conflict between truck ladder extension and building if
vehicles are parked in this area
