8. Kim Kreimeyer has attached a note that should be placed on the Outfall Plan,
sheet C7.30. Redline copy of this sheet is being sent down FedEx today.
9. We suggest that additional benches be added along the west elevation that face
west for a view of the mountains. As shown, all proposed benches face the wall.
10. Please recall that we will need a sample of the "Opaque Glazing" for the Planning
and Zoning Board work session on January 14, 2000.
11. Note number eight regarding screening mechanical equipment should be
expanded. It may be that the parapet wall around the edge of the roof will not
screen all rooftop equipment. It may be necessary to construct rooftop screen
walls that are not parapets but, rather, free-standing metal walls. If free-standing
screen walls are necessary, please state in the note. Also, please state that such
screen walls will be painted to match the predominant color of the building
exterior.

12. On the Site Plan, Sheet Six and Sheet Eight, please indicate the materials and
height of the fence that screens the truck area from the north parking lot. In
addition, please add a detail of this fence any of the detail sheets.

Dear Kurt:
Here are minor follow-up comments that have not been forwarded as of yet. These
comments are in addition to the redline comments that we discussed at our meeting on
December 22, 1999. Please incorporate these comments on the next set of plans that will
be needed by January 4, 2000 for the packet that will go to the Planning and Zoning
Board in preparation for the public hearing on January 20. 2000. .
On the site plan, please provide dimensions for the building envelope.
2. On the site plan, please label the kiosk.
3. If there are to be cart corrals, please indicate. If no cart corrals are planned, and
the store manager desires to put up signage asking customers to return carts to the
front of the store, then such signage shall be placed inside the store, not outside.
We can discuss this further. We may need to add a note to the cover sheet
regarding no additional external signage.
4. On the site plan; please label the trash enclosures.
5. On the architectural elevations, please indicate building height.
6. On the cover sheet, under note number 16, please delete the reference to a cover
over the seasonal sales area.
7. On the site plan, please indicate that the plaza in front of the store, because of
raising the grade of the parking lot, it is flush with the parking lot and that no
separate handicap ramps are necessary. This information should also be conveyed
on Sheet Five.
