The color of the building has been indicated on the revised elevations. b. A color xerox of a sinular walk-up kiosk is provided with this letter- C . All that is being removed from the parapet are four "balls" that exist on each corner. We do not feel that the removal of these balls will further expose any rooftop equipment. d. The applicant feels that the drive-thru lanes of traffic are adequately screened by a large berm and extensive landscaping along Riverside Avenue. We are also 'ng information on the signage desired for this project. The existing Amigos freest g sign box ill be re -used with the Farmers Bank logo as shown. On the rooftop parapetN neon letters ith the Farmers Bank second logo will be as indicated on the elevations. Best Regards, Cathy Mathis Vaught*Frye Architects VAUGHT FRYE architects June 6, 1996 Mike Ludwig Planning Department City of Fort Collins 281 North College Avenue Fort Collins, CO 80522-0580 Re: Farmers Bank at Riverside Shopping Center (Change of Use Review) Dear Mike, As stated in a phone conversation with you, the applicant desires to seek approval for this project without the addition of a second drive-thru banking lane, its accompanying equipment, and the parapet roof covering both lanes. The unforseen existence of two easements have necessitated the removal of the parapet roof at this time because portions of the roof encroach into the easements. We will be seeking an easement vacation request to go to the Planning and Zoning Board for the July 22 hearing. We will be submitting a drawing to Sherri Wamhofito begin routing to the utility companies for comments. After P & Z approval, we will be resubmitting a set of plans for review that include the previously mentioned drive-thru lane and parapet roof. New sets will be submitted to both the planning department for an Administrative Hearing and the Building department for approval. In order to speed the Administrative Hearing with the Director of Planning for this request, we are responding to your comments dated May 23, 1996: 1. a. and b. Since the drive-thru cover is being eliminated with this proposal, we will not have any dimensions, but will include them in our later submittal. 2. The current drive-thru pattern is not being modified for this request. In our future request, the 22' wide area will be divided as recommended by the manufacturer of drive up banking equipment. 3. We will be submitting an easement vacation request for the parapet roof and will be providing more information on signage and pavement markings with our second submittal. 4. a. and b.
