SECOND NEIGHBORHOOD MEETING - 10-96 - CORRESPONDENCE - CORRESPONDENCE-NEIGHBORHOOD MEETINGME L Community Planning and Environmental Services Current Planning City of Fort Collins January 12, 1996 Dear Resident On Monday, May 6, 1996 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church*, 1709 West Elizabeth Street, the City of Fort Collins Planning Department will conduct a neighborhood information meeting to discuss a proposal for a development in your neighborhood. The developer is proposing a residential project (named West Plum Street P.U.D.) that contains 15 lots on 3 acres. The development would consist of single-family detached homes. The property is located between West Plum Street (to the north), Rocky Road (to the west), and Timber Lane (to the east). The area is surrounded by existing single family homes to the north, east, and west; to the south, there is an existing home on an abutting lot of approximately two acres. A formal development review request has been made to the City, and the plans have been revised as per City comments. The Preliminary P.U.D. proposal is scheduled to go before the Planning and Zoning Board of the City of Fort Collins on May 20, 1996. At the neighborhood meeting of May 6, 1996, the developers will give a presentation of their plans in order to get ideas, concerns, and general feedback from the local residents. A representative of the City Planning Department will be present to respond to questions about City policies and regulations and to take minutes of the meeting. A list of affected property owners for this public information meeting is derived from official records of the L u imer County Assessor. Because of the lag time between home occupancy and record keeping, or because of rental situations, a few affected property owners may have been missed. Please feel free to notify your neighbor of this pending meeting so that all neighbors may have the opportunity to attend. If you are unable to attend this meeting, written comments are welcome.
