Attached are revisions of the Ramada Suites PUD Phase I Final, revised in response to
City Staff Comments. Most of the comments were made verbally previously and were
reflected on the previous submittal. We have worked with Natural Resources on the plantings
along the wetlands and have made some adjustments. We have also modified the planting
plan to reflect utility locations. To the best of our knowledge, there is no ordinance requiring
shrubs and other plant material to be kept 4' away from service lines. This in effect makes an
8' swath where no plantings are allowed, which is contrary to the wishes of other various
departments. These are service lines, which are maintained by the property owner, not the
city.
We have also made the walk along Mason 5' wide as requested at the Planning and
Zoning hearing.
