Farmers Bank at Riverside Shopping Center
August 19. 1996
The Farmers Bank at Riverside Shopping Center request to change a vacant fast food restaurant
into a drive-thru bank was submitted on May 2, 1996. Due to two easments, the site was
approved by the Director of Planning without the inclusion of a second drive-thru banking lane,
its equipment, and the canopy covering both lanes. An easment vacation was sought and
approved by the Planning & Zoning Board July 22, 1996. Some re -design of the canopy and the
columns supporting it were required in order to avoid an existing storm sewer line. This Site Plan
Design Supplemental Review submittal includes the addition of the drive-thru lane and the re-
designed canopy.
The proposed site changes are as follows:
On the northeast side of the building, two covered 9' wide drive-thru lanes are proposed
with a T wide raised island between. The island will contain drive -up banking equipment,
bollards, and two 18" supporting columns.
The proposed elevation / building changes are as follows:
• A new structure with a flat roof will cover the drive-thru lanes. The roof cantilevers out
over the north lane. The stucco style and color will match the building.
