Box 580 Fort Collins, CO 80522-0580 RE: Proposed Upgrade of Existing Wireless Facility Dear Ted, 1 1 western9M wireless Western Wireless requests your review of proposed upgrades to its existing wireless facility located at the top of the 16 story First National Bank building located at 215 West Oak Street near downtown Fort Collins. Formerly zoned General Business, the location is now zoned Downtown District. The site design, approved on December 31, 1996, consists of three sled mount support structures, each supporting two panel antennas for a total of six panel antennas. Also one BTS equipment unit is located at the site. Western's proposed additions include a second BTS unit located near its existing BTS unit in addition to a two foot microwave dish, which will be attached to one of the existing sled mount support structures. Because of the extreme height of the building, the visual impact of such a proposal will be barely noticeable from the ground and therefor a photo simulation from on top of the roof is enclosed with this letter. At your request, the microwave dish can be painted any color you see fit. Western submits this minimal impact proposal for processing under Type 1 Administrative Review in accordance with the Land Use Code updated December 1997. Please call me with any questions or comments. I can be reached at (303) 359-0099.
