Troy,
(1) 1 will need to look into research on who maintains Constellation. Prior to our recent meeting with the
applicant, Dave informally mentioned that he believes the neighborhood maintains the roadway.
(2) Dave and I spoke on this and we've backed off the requirements. I did ask Brian at Landmark to
provide split bi-directional ramps at the driveway intersection across from Uranus in order to make the
sidewalk system continue in a linear fashion along Constellation without ramps that take you out into the
street. He was amenable to that.
I also gave Brian some direction on the pedestrian refuge issue. They are now set to proceed with the
redesign and I hope will be ready for hearing with the next submittal. I would like to look at the plan set a
little more but will most likely not have any other issues.
Thanks for your help on all this.

I just want to coordinate on a few issues about good sam.
1) The question came up of who would maintain Constellation. Is there anything I need to do, or are you
going to find out the answer?
2) Now that we know that LUC in place on Oct 2, 1998 didn't require the "new driveway approach" or
address the issue of the channeling of water across the public sidewalk, let me know as soon as you know
if there were any Engineering Standards pertaining to these 2 issues in place at that date.
Personal Soapbox (for what it's worth) - I recommend we back off on this issue. The comment wasn't
made until the 5th (or so) round of review. Since Tim referred to the LUC in the comment and not the
Engineering Standards, and because he never made the comment earlier in his review, I propose we
leave it alone. But at any rate, let me know if you find any Engineering standards that were in place on
October 2, 1998 that back up the comment.
