No. 6: A water quality structure has been added at the existing detention pond.

No. 8: We are waiting to hear back from the City Forester, Mr. Tim Buchanan, to
determine if the existing tree can be removed and / or mitigated.
No. 9: A Drainage Report Letter is included in this resubmittal.
No. 10: Once City staff has approved the Site and Utility design, all necessary
easements will be finalized.

No. 34: We are matching the materials and colors from the adjacent Safeway
grocery store. Color photos of the grocery store are included in this resubmittal.
No. 35: Proposed signage locations on the canopy and carwash have been shown.
No. 36: Street trees have been added in the locations that were denoted on the red
lines. However, the exact tree locations along Valley Forge Avenue have been
slightly modified due to conflicts with existing underground utilities.
No. 37: The note as requested has been added to the Landscape Plan.
No. 38: The planting bed has been extended to reduce the amount of sod.
No. 39: According to the City Forester, Mr. Tim Buchanan, the Siberian Elms are a
nuisance tree and no mitigation is required. Per on -site meeting held 3/20/2006.

Response to May 19, 2006 Review Comments
Dear Mr. Olt:
Please accept this first Project Development Plan resubmittal for the Safeway Fuel
Facility referenced above. The plans included in this resubmittal have been revised to
address the review comments contained within the Staff Project Review dated
5/19/2006. The following are itemized responses corresponding to the Staff's review
comments.
1. Current Planning:
No. 25: All red -lined plans are included in this resubmittal.
No. 26: The Swamp White Oak has been changed to Bur Oak per Mr. Buchanan's
request.
No. 27: An on -site meeting with Mr. Buchanan was held on March 20, 2006.
No. 24: Existing sidewalk at the northwest corner of the site has been shown
extending to the south.
2. Engineering:
No. 3: The Cover Sheet has been revised as requested.
No. 4: The Site Plan and the ALTA Survey have been revised per the comments.
No. 5: The Utility Plan and the Grading & Erosion Control Plan have been revised
as instructed.
3. Light & Power:
No. 2: Comment noted, no revision required.
