Verizon 65 foot stealth monopole
Just saw the posting on the SW corner of Taft Hill and Valley Forge.
The tallest human -made object in that area is the Safeway building, which is perhaps 30 feet tall.
Putting a 65\' wireless tower on that corner would make an ugly strip mall even uglier.
Undoubtedly they would need to tear out the cottonwoods and small wetlands area where the cattails grow
during the summer.
Every home within three blocks would be able to see this structure, which would be an eyesore and
probably lower property values within this region.
It would be better to put this tower on Drake road where 60\' power lines already exist. A wireless
company took advantage of a power pole near the Preserve apartments to construct their cell tower.
What do I need to do to make a stronger protest to this construction proposal?
