Dear Resident:
On Wednesday, January 21, 2004, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., at the City of Fort Collins
Streets Facility, 625 Ninth Street, the City of Fort Collins Current Planning Department will
conduct a neighborhood meeting to discuss a development proposal in your neighborhood.
The project is known as Home Depot at Mulberry and Lemay Crossings Shopping
Center.
The request is for a Home Depot retail store. As proposed, the store would consist of
102,540 square feet. In addition, there would be a 19,079 garden center for a total store
size of 121,619 square feet.
The site is located south of the Super Wal-Mart. The site is bounded by Lemay Avenue on
the west, Mulberry Street on the south, Magnolia Street on the north, and 12th Street on
the east. The parcel is 11.24 acres in size.
The front of the store and main parking lot would face west, the garden center would be
along Magnolia Street and the delivery and loading dock would be along 12th Street.
The meeting will be in the Streets Department "Training Room." Please enter the door on
the south side of the building.
The list of affected property owners for this public information meeting is derived from
official records of the Larimer County Assessor. Because of the lag time between home
occupancy and record keeping, or because of rental situations, a few affected property
owners may have been missed. Please feel free to notify your neighbor of this pending
meeting so all neighbors may have the opportunity to attend. If you are unable to attend
this meeting, written comments are welcome.
If you have any questions regarding this matter, please call our office at 970-221-6750.
Sincerely:
.
