Re: Harvest Park Recommendations
December 30, 1999
As I'm sure you are aware, Ron Fuchs is the project planner for Harvest Park, but is on
vacation this week. The staff report that he provided prior to his departure stipulated a
recommended condition of approval that a revised landscape plan be submitted in order
to provide the required 30 to 40 foot tree spacing in two specific areas where it is
currently not shown with adequate spacing. The two locations where the provided
landscape plans do not provide the required street tree spacing are in the areas abutting
local residential streets within tracts C and G (see the two attached 8.5" x 11" copies of
those areas of the landscape plans). After further discussion with Bob Blanchard, he has
decided that rather than recommend a condition, the Current Planning Department will
require the applicant to revise those two specific areas of the landscape plan prior to
hearing. We expect that the applicant will provide those revisions at the hearing, so the
staff report does not mention the condition.
