In order to comply with the solar ordinance, we need to have south facing units, and we also need to have the driveway connect to meet fire code. What I am proposing to meet the pedestrian connectivity requirement is to build a raised crosswalk across the drive, ten feet in width, of which we will then build a connecting six foot walk to the units that would connect to the units and the walk along the channel. I hope we can -avoid a modification request in this area. If you can, let me know what you think before you leave tomorrow.
