Troy,
Yesterday, when I sent you comments through inter -office mail on this project, I didn't have any utility
plans to review. This morning, my mail included a set of preliminary utility plans. I now have the following
additional comment.
The north edge of this project shows a detention pond. There is an existing major electrical substation tie
circuit & conduit system in this area. This conduit system is encased in concrete, and must maintain a
minimum dirt cover of 26". There is also a 10' x 10' concrete electric vault approximately south of the lot
line between lots 4 & 7 of Evergreen Park 3rd. Any modification to the electric system will be very costly to
the developer. This conduit system continues east in the area shown with an off site storm drain. The
electric system should be field located and shown on the utility plans to assure adequate lateral
clearances between the storm system and the electric system.
