City staff comments and red -lined plans were forwarded to the applicant on March 6, 2002 and our comments indicated that another round of review, based on any changes they may make to the plans, is needed. There will be a 3 week review period by City staff from the time revisions are submitted. At the end of the 3 week period we will determine if the project is ready to go to public hearing. Regarding a public hearing, the proposed land uses as indicated on the Site Plan appear to be Type I uses, requiring an administrative public hearing in front of a hearing officer. We still have some questions of the applicant, however, about what type of potential food service (restaurant) use and office use are being proposed. Depending on what is determined, the proposal could require a Planning and Zoning Board public hearing. It is my understanding that a response to your requested interpretation of the Contextual Height section in the Land Use Code will be forwarded to you very soon. Steve >>> Tom and Sally Kitze <paulkitze@yahoo.com> 04/11/02 10:07AM >>> Steve, what is your current best guess at schedule for the development review process for Bella Vista? I noted that on the list of current projects it is listed as Type II review. Is this correct? I still haven't received the interpretation I requested of the height code, but would like to have the chance for an appeal before the project goes to P and Z or to a hearing. Thanks for your help.
