This is a project for a downtown area. Please do not negatively change the character of our neighborhood. 2. 1 oppose the possibility of a bar, 24 x7 store, liquor store, etc. being located in primarily a residential area. 3. 1 am appalled at the fact that the Traffic Department insists on utilizing the useless painted medians on E. Horsetooth Road instead of installing raised medians. The raised medians have been needed for many years now and in the event of added traffic in the area, we need them even more. Oncoming traffic does not notice the painted medians and if you are trying to turn onto Spindrift Court from the turning lane on Horsetooth (heading west) you take your life into your hands. Does someone need to be killed in a head-on collision for the city to make a change? Have you tried to make this turn during morning or evening rush hour? Please take the time to do so, so you may understand our concerns. I know that other concerned neighbors will be in attendance at this meeting. I hope that the architect does not make another underhanded comment as he did last year, where he stated that only a few people came to voice their opinions against Bella Vista. Please remember that last year, many neighbors sent in signed petitions noting their displeasure with Bella Vista. Thank you for your time in taking note of my concerns.
