I really only want to discuss how we came to the point of giving up this (E) Employment land in favor of (POL) Public Open Lands. I wanted to know what the City stands to lose in terms of private employment potential by setting this land aside, especially since our Council is of late much more interested in losing (E) Employment land with regard to other rezonings, past and future. It would be helpful to know what private interest there has been in this land and how it would look as (E) Employment if it were zoned that way and made a part of the 1-25 Subarea Plan with that classification.
