My map book shows the closest hydrant to the west, on the corner of William Neal Parkway and Chase Dr. however, more recent changes to the utility infrastructure may now provide other hydrants in the area. If the hydrant on Chase and Neal Pkwy is still the closest hydrant, then approval of the Minor Amendment will be contingent on providing another hydrant. It is the responsibility of the applicant to verify hydrant location, pressure, and volume. Code language provided below. RESPONSE: There is an existing fire hydrant at the corner of Bryce Drive and William Neal Parkway and this location has been verified. > IFC 508.1 and Appendix B: RESIDENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: Within the Urban Growth Area, hydrants to provide 1,000 gpm at 20 psi residual pressure, spaced not further than 400 feet to the building, on 800-foot centers thereafter.
