Dear Resident or Property Owner
On Monday, February 27, 2006 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., at Ridgeview Classical School, 1800
South Lemay Avenue, Fort Collins, Colorado, the Current Planning Department of the City of
Fort Collins will conduct a neighborhood information meeting to discuss a development proposal in
your neighborhood. The project is referred to as Ridgeview Classical School Phase IV Addition
Site Plan Advisory Review.
This project is a request to construct a 9,366 square foot addition to the existing Ridgeview
Classical School, located at 1800 South Lemay Avenue. This property is in the Low Density
Residential (RL) Zoning District. Public and private schools for elementary, intermediate and high
school education are permitted uses in this zoning district, subject to review and comment by the
Planning and Zoning Board.
The proposed addition is to the north of the existing building, near the corner of South Lemay
Avenue and East Stuart Streets. In 2004, a similar addition was proposed at a different location on
the school site, but was never constructed.
The list of affected property owners for this public information meeting is derived from official
records of the Larimer County Assessor. Because of the lag time between home occupancy and
record keeping, or because of rental situations, a few affected property owners may have been
missed. Please feel free to notify your neighbor of this pending meeting so all neighbors may have
the opportunity to attend. If you are unable to attend this meeting, written comments are welcome.
