The street tree previously located at -the southwest corner of the property has been removed. This
tree does not meet the 40' offset from a city street light requirement . just to the north of this tree is
another street tree that is located within the offset distance of an existing sewer line. We ask that City
Utilities approve this location as it is one of only two street trees left along City Park Avenue.
Architectural Elevations
Landscaping is not included in the elevations.
Architectural Site Sections
This plan reflects the changes in parking layout as per your comments.
Site Lighting Plan
• Equivalent Lamp designations are shown in High Pressure Sodium.
We feel that all staff comments have been addressed adequately and a request for mylars after your
next review is appropriate.

Re: Lofts at Campus West
Dear Mike,
LOCKWOOD
t1RCHITECTeS
This letter serves as a response to your review comments concerning submitted documents for Lofts
at Campus West dated August 14, 1998.
Lockwood Architects has replaced the former Glaser and Associates as planners on this project. This
transition has resulted in a number of visible changes since the last submittal. We have tried to
maintain as much as possible with the most notable changes in the areas of architecture and
landscaping. The architectural changes were necessary as not to infringe on the copyright of the
previous design. We have ,however, developed an architectural character consistent with the old
town theme. Landscaping has changed to reflect compliance with city requirements for utility
clearance. Also an enhanced palate of plant material has been added in response to use and
conditions.
We have addressed the plan review comments on the attached redlines as follows:
Plat
v The plat has been modified as per your comments.
Site Plan
iiZ All existing trees are shown and are labeled as to remain or remove.
Y The buildings are labeled as to the number of units in each, as well as square footage and
datum.
t✓ The general notes are modified as per your comments.
The City signature statement and block is changed as per your comments.
The 10 parking spaces along the north property line is removed and the single loaded drive
1 aisle reduced to 22 feet. The parking stalls on the south side of that aisle are 17' as
requested. The area of the original parking stalls remains part of the on site detention pond,
but will be landscaped (see utility plans).
