Request for extension
In order to keep this project in the development review process, we are requesting the allowed
60-day extension for the re -submittal of staff comments to Rigden Farm, 8`h Filing, The Shops
at Rigden Farm, Project Development Plan with Final Plat, Type II.
City comments were received on February 18, 2003. The main comments from the City
Engineering Department addressed the need for extensive modification of grading along the
entire length of proposed Illinois Drive. There have been numerous revisions to the grading plan
requiring extensive coordination and meetings with the City Engineering Department and our
civil engineers, bringing about the postponement of any subsequent submittals. The developer
has also been challenged with unforeseen problems in trying to secure the additional right-of-
way along the north side of Drake Road that is being required in order to comply with Larimer
County Urban Area Street Standards. This has caused additional time to process the re -submittal
and therefore a request for a 60-day extension.
Date of staff project review: February18, 2003
90-days: May 18, 2003
60-day extension: July 18, 2003

Plan resubmittal deadline 60-day extension
Dear Ms. Gray:
The City of Fort Collins has reviewed and approved a 60-day extension to the
Rigden Farm, 8th Filing, The Shops at Rigden Farm, Project Development Plan
resubmittal deadline. With the extension, the new deadline will be July 18,
2003. This will hopefully give you sufficient time to resolve the outstanding
engineering and street right-of-way issues associated with your project.
