PETERSON) - PDP - 35-00 - DECISION - PROJECT EXTENSION (3)KR(U( IR0SETU AR(UITICTS November 15, 2001 Mr. Canmeron Gloss, Current Planning Director City of Fort Collins Current Planning Department 281 North College Avenue Fort Collins, CO 80522-0580 Dear Mr. Gloss, The purpose of this letter is to request a 30 day extension for the submittal for the project at 611 South Peterson Street. Due to the schedules of city staff, floodplain issues, and other circumstances, we will anticipate scheduling a planning and zoning review for the month of January. The issues specifically involve the following: 1. locating some of the floodplain information submitted, interpretation of required submitals 2. December planning and zoning meeting will not be held due to holiday schedules. 3. continued refinement of floodplain information required: as this project has progressed, Old Town Hydrology is currently being revised to decrease flows in the vicinity of Myrtle and Peterson Streets 4. misunderstanding concerning the requirement of the scheduling of an administrative hearing versus a planning and zoning hearing. We value the input that we have received in this planning process and thank you for your consideration of this matter. College Ave. Fort Collins, CO 80525 Subject: 611 South Peterson Street PDP additional 30-day extension Dear Ms. Kreul-Froseth, The City of Fort Collins has reviewed and approved your request for an additional 30-day extension to the 611 South Peterson Street PDP, resubmittal deadline. With a 30-day extension to today's deadline, your new resubmittal deadline will be December 14, 2001. This extension will hopefully give you sufficient time to resolve outstanding comments raised by staff. Based on the information to date, we have tentatively scheduled the Planning & Zoning Board review of this PDP for January 17, 2002.
