Dear Mr. Gloss,
The purpose of this letter is to request an extension for the submittal for the project at 611 South
Peterson Street. The letter dated November 22, 2000 indicates that the 90 day plan revision
submittal time -frame began on that date with a deadline of February 20, 2001. The 30-day
extension would result in a new deadline of March 22, 2001.
Due to the changes in project scope, available data and staff as outlined below, we are requesting
the 30-day extension:
i . a change in the assigned city planner for the project
2. a total redesign and downsizing of the project based upon the written comments
received from the City of Fort Collins and the neighbor's written comments.
3. the scheduling of a second meeting with staff to present the newly the designed
project
4. the scheduling and planning of a second neighborhood courtesy meeting to present
the new proposed program including the redesign of the exterior elevations, massing
model, And landscape plan
5. changes in the floodplain data: as this project has progressed, Old Town Hydrology is
currently being revised to decrease flows in the vicinity of Myrtle and Peterson
Streets
6. the scheduling of a meeting with the Design Review Subcommittee for the Landmark
Preservation Committee for the City of Fort Collins
