RE: April 18, 2006, Public Hearing by the Fort Collins City Council to Consider An
Amendment to the City Plan Structure Plan Map, which is a component of the City's
Comprehensive Plan.
Dear Mr. Wensing,
Section 24-32-3209(2)(a) of the Colorado Revised Statutes requires local governments to provide
neighboring jurisdictions written notice of public hearings when the comprehensive plan of that
local government is.to be considered for an amendment. Therefore, the purpose of this letter is to
inform the Town of Windsor that the Fort Collins City Council will consider an amendment the
City Plan Structure Plan Map, the City's Comprehensive Plan. The amendment will change the
designation of approximately 5.05 acres located at the northwest corner of Drake and Timberline
Roads on the Structure Plan Map, from "Medium Density Mixed Use Residential" to
"Neighborhood Commercial Center". The change would permit a range of neighborhood -oriented
retail and service uses on the site. The City Council's public hearing will be conducted on the
following date and at the time and place listed:
Tuesday, April 18, 2006
6:00 P.M.
City Council Chambers
City Hall West, 300 Laporte Avenue
Fort Collins, CO
Latimer County may submit comments to the City of Fort Collins prior to the above listed
hearing date. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
Sincerely,
