This new school will be located on the east side of Timberline Road, approximately 2,000 feet south of Kechter Road (C.R.#36). The first meeting is a Neighborhood Information Meeting. This meeting will be held on Monday, February 25, 2001, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Argyle at Willow Springs Apartments Clubhouse, 2002 Battlecreek Drive. This will be an informal meeting with both Poudre School District and City of Fort Collins officials to discuss the development aspects of the new school and answer questions about the project. (Note: This is not a meeting about attendance boundary or curriculum.) The second meeting is a City of Fort Collins Planning and Zoning Board Meeting*. This meeting will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2002, at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, City Hall West, 300 LaPorte Avenue. This is a formal public hearing to consider the 2003 Elementary School, Site Plan Advisory Review, #5-02. This is a request for a 600-student elementary school on approximately 11.3 acres. The two- story school will be approximately 63,092 square feet and the site. As mentioned, the site is located on the east side of Timberline Road, between Kechter Road and Trilby Road, and north of Westchase Subdivision. (Please see map on reverse) Please note that the parcel is presently located in unincorporated Larimer County. Because the school site is located within the Urban Growth Area and the Fossil Creek Reservoir Area Plan, the project is being processed through the City of Fort Collins. The Poudre School District has agreed to annex into the City in the near future as the property becomes eligible for annexation.
