Re: Redtail Project ---Request of Vacation of right-of-way
Dear Susan:
Lagunitas Redtail, Inc. hereby requests that the City of Fort Collins grant us a vacation for two
right-of-ways located in our proposed Redtail Project. Our requests include:
1. Frontage Road Vacation
2. Street Vacation for Alvorada Drive and the most westerly portion of Cameron Drive
We believe it would beneficial to the City of Fort Collins to grant us the proposed vacations for the
following reasons:
1. Frontage Road Vacation
a) To increase vehicular and pedestrian safety by blocking access from the
proposed residential project to the north (Redtail PDP).
b) Part of the vacated road would be used for a water quality pond, along with a
portion of Lot 10, Cameron Park Second Filing.
2. Street Vacation ---The vacation would allow Lagunitas Redtail, Inc. to properly plat our
site, plat and utility layouts for our Redtail Project without conflicting information in
regards to the original development plans for this area.
We have included copies of the legal descriptions, exhibits and a vicinity map for our proposed
vacations. For your convenience we have also included a CD with the same information.
