HomeMy WebLinkAboutKMART PLAZA, FULLER'S TEXACO - PDP - 38-97A - CORRESPONDENCE - REVISIONSe) Building envelopes have been delineated and dimensioned on the Site
Plan.
f) This Texaco sign location has been coordinated between Owner and
Peter Barnes.
7. Current Planning
a) Photometric plan is revised and resubmitted.
b) The east foundation planting area has been increased to exceed 5 feet.
The south area is revised to 5 feet, however, as discussed with staff, we
propose to use numerous potted plantings, (refer to Landscape Plan), in lieu
of a shrub bed.
c) General notes have been added.
d) Signature blocks have been revised.
e) Parking spaces allowed per code are included on the Site Plan.
f) The appropriate Legal Description is on the Site Plan.
g) Plans have been adjusted to accommodate Drake Road setback
requirements.
h) Misspelled word is corrected.
i) Katherine Avis approved location of bike rack.
j) Patio / Courtyard is widened and additional green space is added. Picnic
tables have been labeled.
k) Interior parking exceeds 6% and is labeled. The Two trees have been
added per staff request at increased landscape island thus bringing project
into compliance wit full tree stocking.
1) Additional landscape screening has been added south of pumps at east /
west entrances.
m) The requested tree has been added on Drake Road, as well as, the two
trees east of the car wash.
n) The Owner is coordinating signage size with Peter Barnes, including the
banded logo, and it appears that the banded logo is too large and will be
eliminated or much reduced in size.
o) We request that the black and red canopy be retained. We feel that
similar to the Jiffy Lube project at Kensington and College done by the same
owner, the black canopy actually appears neutral and does not detract visually
from the overall effect of project uniformity. We ask that you view the
aforementioned jiffy Lube project to determine if you agree.
p) Additional landscape was added to the west wall of the trash enclosure.
q) All reclined items have been addressed.
Sincerely,
i
