For urban outdoor applications, the high -quality white light of the
CosmoPolisTM lamp offers distinct advantages over yellow light from
conventional high pressure sodium (HPS) and metal halide (MH) sources.
The most significant advantage is revolutionary — the white light from the
CosmoPolisTM lamp improves the visibility of people, buildings, cars and
other objects, increasing the potential to spot and react to hazards, and
resulting in safer public areas.
Because the eye is more sensitive to white light than to yellow light at
the same levels, the CosmoPolislm lamp is perceived brighter than other
sources. This results in measurably improved peripheral vision and color
contrast, which allows motorists, passengers, bikers and pedestrians to
perceive objects and people more clearly. Not only does this make public
areas safer, but it also enhances the ambiance of surrounding areas,
creating more attractive streets, communities and environments.

In addition to its unprecedented visibility, the CosmoPolis"I system offers superior efficiency and
dependability, translating into lower power consumption and longer life. Improvements to the lamp arc
tube design and vapor salts have increased the system's luminous efficacy, resulting in up to 115 lumens
per watt— substantially more than comparable MH and HPS sources offer. The 60w CosmoPolisTm
lamps also have a long rated average life of 20,000 hours, while the electronic ballast has an expected
lifetime of 60,000 hours. Additionally, CosmoPolisTm offers superior lumen maintenance, exceeding 80%.
Note: The CosmoPolisTm system is currently available in 60w. Higher wattages will be available soon.
The optimized design and precise positioning of the CosmopolisTm light source via the locking lamp base
enables substantially improved optical performance. This means luminaires can be spaced some 10-20%
farther apart, ensuring that fewer lights are needed to achieve the desired performance.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Gardco Radiant luminaires combine LED performance excellence and advanced Gardco LED thermal management
technology with a distinctly contemporary architectural style to provide outdoor area lighting that is both energy -efficient and aesthetically pleasing.
The high-performance LED optical systems are available with Type II, Type III, Type IV and Type V optical systems. Gardco's LED technology provides
maximized light output and maximum energy savings. LED life is an estimated 50,000 hours.

Light Arrays
Light Arrays harness advanced LifeLED'm technology to create
varied distribution patterns for area lighting. Each Light Array includes
several state-of-the-art LEDs, whose light is preset individually
through a unique and prismatic optical system, leading to superior
light quality and precise aiming. Radiant can be specified with one
or two Light Arrays, depending on the desired light level.
Light Arrays can save 30 to 50% or more on energy costs compared
to many HPS or MH systems. They offer 50,000 or more hours of life,
meaning less and lower replacement maintenance costs than other
sources. Radiant's advanced thermal management ensures a long
life of quality performance.

LightBARSTI
LightBARST" are among the most impressive LED systems for outdoor luminaires,
with great optical performance and an efficiency of up to 95%. The sophisticated,
energy -saving system uses multiple modular bars containing state-of-the-art LEDs
which create a wide distribution of light, maximized in a Type V pattern. LightBARST""
are manufactured with an aluminum core PCB to provide maximum thermal protection.

Seamless Transitions
There are no visible transitions between components, ensuring that Radiant
remains refined and satisfying from every viewing angle. Even the mounting
arm is integral, allowing a seamless transition trom luminaire to pole.
Added Strength
Lateral stainless steel rods run the length of the housing to provide
strength and rigidity while unilying the housing structure.
Rugged Housing
Radiant combines all the best
construction materials — die cast end
caps, heavy gauge extruded aluminum
side panels, and stainless steel rods
and hardware. These solid, rugged
components conceal all hardware.
Weather -Protected Construction
Radiant is completely sealed at all
points of material transition to exclude
the intrusion of rain, insects and dust.
Depending on mounting orientation and
accessories, the luminaire is UL and
CUL listed for wet locations.
Flexible Optics
Radiant can achieve IES Type II, Type III,
Type IV and Type V distributions. The optical
system provides full cutoff performance.
Separate Driver Compartment
Radiant Is equipped with an LED driver that
accepts 120V through 277V• 50hz to 60hz input.
Driver output is based on the LED wattage.
Component -to -component wiring within the
luminaire will carry no more than 80% of rated
current and is UL listed at 600VAC,15A or higher.
Long -Lasting Finishes
The finish is a tale- and abrasion -
resistant, electrostatically applied,
thermally cured IGIC powdercoat.
Radiant housings are thoroughly
cleaned and treated prior to paint
application. Several standard
colors and more than 200
optional colors are available.
No Lens Needed
Radiant requires no lens because
each LED is completely sealed. An
optional diffusing lens is available.

HOUSING: A one-piece die cast aluminum housing mounts directly
to a pole, mast arm or wall without the need for a support arm.
LENS ASSEMBLY: A single -piece die cast aluminum lens frame hinges
down from the housing and is secured by a concealed stainless steel
hinge and hinge pin.
An optically clear, heat and impact resistant tempered flat glass lens
(convex lens on vertical lamps and horizontal T50 and 1000W MH) is
mechanically secured with six retainers. The electrical and optical
chambers are thoroughly sealed with a one-piece memory retentive
hollow core silicone gasket to prevent intrusion by rain, dust and insects.
OPTICAL SYSTEMS: The segmented optical systems are manufactured
from homogenous sheet aluminum which has been electrochemically
brightened, anodized and sealed. The multifaceted arc image duplicating
systems are designed to produce IES Types 1(1), II (2XL-2XLV), III
(3XL-3XLV), IV (4XL-4XLV), and V (5H-5V). With the 2XL, 3XL and 4XL
luminaires, the reflector facets form a conical fan around the arc tube with
each facet positioned to be precisely tangent to the top of the arc tube.
For the C1325, a mogul base lampholder is glazed porcelain with a nickel
plated screw shell. Position -oriented sockets are supplied standard to
accept super metal halide lamps. All CR25 units feature lamp stabilizers.
In CR20 units, lampholders for 25OW metal halide lamps are mogul base.
All other CR20 lampholders are medium base.
LED RING: The luminaire is provided with a decorative acrylic rod
shaped to follow the contour of the luminaire and is illuminated at each
end by light emitting diode (LED) illuminator assemblies.
The rod will have reflective coating causing an even brightness along its
length resembling luminous tube lighting. There are no breaks, discrete
spots, or other discontinuities visible in the intended viewing angle of
60` to 90` above nadir.
The method of rod attachment to luminaire allows for thermal expansion
and contraction form-70°F/-57°C to +120°F/+49°C without causing damage
to the assembly. The rod does not use adhesives for structural support.
The illuminator assembly at each end consists of a polycarbonate
thermoplastic housing which encloses LEDs.
The electrical supply powering each illuminator directly or indirectly shall
be 30 volts RMS or less. Primary wavelengths for the available colors shall
be: Red — 626-635 nm; Orange — 605-609 nm; Amber — 509-592 nm;
Blue — 465-470 nm.
ELECTRICAL: All electrical components are UL recognized, factory
tested, and mounted on a unitized plate with quick electrical disconnects.
Each high power factor ballast is the separate component type capable of
providing reliable lamp starting down to-20°F/-29'C.
FINISH: Each standard color luminaire receives a fade and abrasion
resistant, electrostatically applied, thermally cured, triglycidal isocyanurate
(TGIC) textured polyester powdercoat finish. Units are thoroughly
cleaned and provided with a patented chromate acid pretreatment.
Standard colors include bronze (BRP), black (BLP), white (WP), and
natural aluminum (NP). Consult factory for specs on custom colors.
LABELS: All fixtures bear UL or CUL (where applicable) Wet Location labels

COMPACT SIZE
The 60w CosmoPolisTM is an extremely compact system which ensures complete flexibility and trouble -free installation
to meet any design need. CosmoPolisTM lamps are 65% smaller than quartz metal halide, ceramic metal halide and high
pressure sodium that offer comparable lighting performance. The system's dedicated electronic ballast is up to 50%
smaller than the magnetic ballasts used by other sources.
The CosmoPolisTM systems compact size means that fewer raw materials are used, ensuring that more resources
are conserved compared to other lighting systems. Its size also allows for use in a variety of Gardco luminaires of
differing sizes, weights and configurations. Easy to both install and service, this system can go virtually anywhere.

The CosmoPolisTM system's improved visibility,
higher efficiency and compact size lead to a wealth of
environmentally friendly advantages. Because of the highly
visible, energy -efficient white light, fewer luminaires
are needed to light areas to desired levels, resulting in
substantial savings and reduced environmental
impact in both the short- and long-term.
The highly efficient lamp and ballast reduce CO2 greenhouse
gas emissions, and their long lifespan reduces the need to
manufacture replacements or dispose of used materials.
Even the manufacturing and packaging of the CosmoPolisTM
system is environmentally conscious thanks to its
convenient, flexible small size.
All told, the CosmoPolisTM system uses up to half the power
of traditional outdoor lighting systems, and typically lowers
the cost of energy up to 40% compared to most systems used
today. Priced much lower than LED, CosmoPolisTM is the
system that offers most efficient, environmentally conscious
