please indicate the material and color (E.I.F.S.? metal?). Based on the shadowing
indicated on the Left Elevation — East, the screen wall appears open to the east. If
open, how is the rooftop equipment screened? Please be sure that the screen wall is
sufficient (height, length, width) to completely screen the equipment. If, upon
inspection, the screen wall proves to be insufficient, staff will request a retrofit. One
option would be to show this as a separate scaled detail
New Comment: Please add the following note to the Site Plan. -
"The developer is responsible for replacing any existing trees on Lot 11A,
Harmony Village P.U.D. Replat No. 1 that are either failing to thrive or dead that
are not specifically indicated to be replaced by new landscaping per Home 2
Suites Landscape Plan."
New Comment: On the Lighting Plan E-0.2, the porte cochere is not indicated. As a
result, there are no under -canopy light fixtures. Generally, a porte cochere includes
under canopy lighting. Is this the case? Please confirm. If there is to be under -canopy
lighting, please adjust the Lighting Plan accordingly to indicate the type of fixtures.
Since the area is under a structure, the foot-candle illuminance plan does not need to
be adjusted.
New Comment: On the Lighting Fixture Schedule, please add a column for Quantity.

Here are my remaining comments for Home 2 Suites, Pre-Mylar Review:
April 27th Planning Comment number one — resolved.
April 27th Planning Comment number two — resolved.
April 27th Planning Comment number three — resolved but only to the extent that the
E.I.F.S. provides an opaque material versus a translucent material on the "beacon."
The architectural elevations continue to indicate that there is to be external illumination
placed within the lighting cove. The comment made on April 27th requires that this
rooftop component "... not be internally or externally illuminated. As a result, the light
cove must be removed.
The lighting materials now include a lighting detail called the "Flexible Magic Line LED
Light Strip — 227FLMagic." Is this the proposed light source intended to be placed
within the lighting cove for the purpose of illuminating the "beacon" component? If so,
since we are not allowing external illumination of the "beacon," this detail can be
removed from the plan set.
New Comment: On the architectural elevation "Left Elevation — East", there is what
appears to be a rooftop mechanical screen wall but this screen wall is not labeled. But,
this screen wall does not appear, or labeled, on any of the other three elevations.
