HomeMy WebLinkAboutMARTINEZ PUD - PRELIMINARY - 4-97 - CORRESPONDENCE - CORRESPONDENCE-NEIGHBORHOOD MEETING:Alms Commu...ty Planning and Environmental .ervices Current Planning City of Fort Collins April 7, 1997 Dear Resident: On Monday, April 21, 1997 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Farm at Lee Martinez Park*, 600 North Sherwood Street, the City of Fort Collins Planning Department will conduct a neighborhood information meeting to discuss a development proposal in your neighborhood. The applicant/developer is proposing a mixed use development, known as the Martinez Planned Unit Development (PUD) - Preliminary, that contains 10 single family residential lots, secondary living units above detached garages on 9 of the single family lots, 34 attached co -housing residential units, and 10 residential living units and retail/office uses in a 3-story commercial building on 9.05 acres. The site is located south of Lee Martinez Park, north of Cherry Street, west of North College Avenue, and east of North Sherwood Street. The subject property is in the LMN - Low Density Mixed Use Neighborhood and POL - Public Open Lands Zoning Districts. The applicant is currently in the City's required PUD review process and all final decisions will be made by the Planning and Zoning Board in future public hearings. The purpose of this meeting on April 21 st is to give all participants the opportunity to ask questions of the applicant and express their concerns in an informal setting. No final decisions will result from this meeting. Representatives of the City will be present to respond to questions about City policies and regulations and to take minutes of the meeting. The list of affected property owners for this public information meeting is derived from official records of the Larimer County Assessor. Because of the lag time between home occupancy and record keeping, or because of rental situations, a few affected property owners may have been missed. Please feel free to notify your neighbor of this pending meeting so all neighbors may have the opportunity to attend. If you are unable to attend this meeting, written comments are welcome.
