HomeMy WebLinkAboutHARMONY TECHNOLOGY PARK, 1ST, CELESTICA - FDP - 12-97B - CORRESPONDENCE -6. There are two additional landscape comments: A. Along the east -west internal parking lot drive aisle, along the north elevation, at the east end, there is a gap in the "full tree stocking." Street trees should be continued eastward along the this drive aisle. This area is shown on sheet four of six. The Code citation is 3.2.1 (D) (1) (c). B. Be sure to add the trees on the south elevation as discussed by Planning and Zoning Board. As always, please call if you have any questions or concerns. Sincerely: Ted Shepard Senior Planner Come city Planning and Environmen! Current Planning City of Fort Collins Mr. Bruce Hendee B.H.A. Design, Inc.. 4803.Innovation Drive Fort Collins, CO 80525 Dear Bruce: iervices November 18, 1997 The following comments are intended to assist in preparation of Final Compliance Plans for Harmony Technology Park, First Filing, Phase One, (Celestica): 1. On note number 15 on the Landscape Plan, please add that no trees are to be planted within four feet of gas lines. 2. Public Service cautions that the 25 foot wide utility easement along Harmony is adequate only if the 21 inch diameter R.C.P. irrigation pipe moves to the north or south of the easement and is not located in the middle of the easement. This is a key issue for PSCo since they will be bringing in a large line along Harmony Road. 3. Public Service will likely install the gas meter near the proposed mechanical room on the northwest corner of the building. According to Jim Slagle of PSCo, the meter will be large and take up about ten feet of wall space on the exterior wall. The meter could be located on the west wall at the north end or on the north wall on the west end. In either event, our desire is to screen the meter from public view. (It will be recalled that the architect expects the northwest corner to highly desirable with prominent views toward C.R.#9 and Harmony Road.) Jim mentioned that screening may be by landscape materials or by a solid enclosure as long as minimum clearance specifications are met. Please contact Jim Slagle at 225-7843 for further information regarding clearance specifications. 4. Because the exact location of the meters (gas and electric) are not exactly specified, note number 10 on sheet one of six should be expanded to add: "Landscaping and screen walls shall be added or modified accordingly to accomplish such screening." 5. The parking data on sheet one of six should include the number of handicap parking spaces. 281 North College Avenue • I?O. Box 580 • Fort Collins, CO S0522-0580 • (970) 221-6750 FAX (970) 416-2020
