We have prepared a point by point response to the City of Fort Collins Community Planning and
Environmental Services Staff memo, dated January 13, 1998. Each number below corresponds
to the Staff memo comment numbers; items not responded to below will be addressed by BHA
Design under separate cover.
1. At present, Celestica is studying options for nitrogen supply, with the preferred solution
being a nitrogen production plant and an adjacent storage tank. We are advised that
installation specifications will be submitted to the City of Fort Collins with the building
permit application.
2. High Pile storage is anticipated. The building design for the area containing high pile
storage will conform with Article 81 of the Uniform Fire Code.
3. Celestica Colorado has prepared a list of hazardous materials expected to be used and
stored at the site, identified in a memo dated November 11, 1997, with an addendum
memo "Chemical Usage for New Building", dated January 21 1998; both documents are
attached.
8. All garbage and recycling processes will be located in the building interior. There will be
sufficient space allocated to recycling requirements in the final design.
10. The building will be designed in accordance with the City of Fort Collins Non-residential
Energy Code (ASHRAE 90.1 with locally adopted amendments).
Please advise if we can provide any further information or clarification of the above.
