Ay Planning and Environmenta; !rvices Current Planning City of Fort Collins ****REVISED NOTICE**** February 18, 2000 Dear Resident: On Wednesday, February 23, 2000 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Preston Junior High School, 4901 Corbett Drive*, the City of Fort Collins Current Planning Department will conduct a neighborhood information meeting to discuss a development proposal in your neighborhood called Harmony Technology Park Amended Overall Development Plan (ODP). ***Correction*** The proposal called Willow Brook ODP was going to be discussed at this meeting, but was postponed to be discussed separately on Wednesday, March 13, 2000 at Preston Junior High School from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Harmony Technology Park Amended ODP is requesting an amendment to the approved ODP in order to allow a mix of Primary and Secondary Uses allowed under the Harmony Corridor (HC) Zoning District and Harmony Corridor Plan. Possible uses include Office, Industrial, Hotel/Motel, Restaurant, Single Family and Multi -Family Residential. The site is being expanded to include approximately 267 acres south of Harmony Road between County Road 9 and the Fossil Creek Inlet Ditch (near County Road 7). What can you expect from attending the neighborhood meeting? The purpose of a neighborhood meeting is to open a line of communication between the developer and the neighbors. This is the forum through which the neighbors can express their concerns, city staff can explain the development review process, and the developer can explain to the neighbors what he/she is intending to do with the project and answer questions from the neighbors. Meeting minutes are taken by city staff, and become part of the project file. Neighborhood meetings are typically scheduled early in the project, before any design decisions have been finalized so the flexibility still exists for the input of neighbors to perhaps be integrated into the project. The list of affected property owners for this neighborhood information meeting is derived from official records of the Larimer County Assessor. Because of the lag time between home occupancy and record keeping, or because of rental situations, a few affected property owners may have been missed. Please feel free to notify your neighbor of this pending meeting so all neighbors may have the opportunity to attend. If you are unable to attend this meeting, written comments are welcome. If you have any questions regarding this matter, please call my office at 970.221.6750. Sincerely, Ronald G.
