Prentice Ave., Suite 815 Greenwood Village, CO 80111 Dear Tom: I revisited the Harmony Technology Park Property today to address the City of Fort Collins Natural Resources Department's request for additional information regarding trees within 500 feet of the property boundaries. Aside from trees growing within the developed Celestica campus area, at adjacent commercial and residential developments west of the site, and in association with existing residences along Cambridge Drive and south of the southeast property corner, the only trees on undeveloped land near the property are located to the south. Approximately 250 feet due south of the southwest property corner a single large peach -leaf willow tree (Salix amygdaloides) with three separate trunks (2 to 3 feet dbh) grows at the edge of a small irrigation ditch. Approximately 1,500 feet east of this tree and 300 feet south of the Harmony Technology Park Property southern boundary a duster of four, mature (2 to 4 feet dbh) plains cottonwoods (Populus sargentii) grow in an existing affaffa field. The approximate locations of these trees are shown on the attached Figure 1. None of these trees showed any evidence of existing or historic raptor perching or nesting use. There were no nests or remnants of nests in any of these trees, and there was no evidence of whitewash or prey remains at the bases of these trees. Other large peach -leaf willows and cottonwoods grow along County Road No. 9 and near County Road No. 36, but these trees are well over 500 feet south of the Harmony Technology Park Property. Tom, if you have any questions or the City requires additional information, please give me a call. Sincerely, CEDAR CREEK ASSOCIAT E9, I\NC. T.
