Anyone who comes in has to go through this whole process again and take it to Planning and Zoning. LEANNE... They have not received approval for this project yet. I talked to Ted Shepard, and he said they will be heavily conditioned. If in 5 years things change and it turns to a group for 1/2 way... they would look back in the minutes. It would be very dif- ficult to go through. Very few get approved. Most likely -you'd see a change to elderly or handicapped.... 34. How is this property zoned? A. It is zoned residential low density. 35. 1 own a property in another neighborhood and I had to go through zoning .... (Alpha Center) It is zoned commercial. I don't understand why this isn't zoned commercial. LEANNE... In the late 70's, the city went through a process and at that time a group home was for the developmentally disabled... -residential areas viable place for group homes -allowable business in residential. It is for people who need help, not necessarily for handicapped people. 7. That's 7 people in 4 bedrooms and 2 people per room. I feel that is too many peo- ple for that size house. A.
