WIRELESS TELECOMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT REVIEW, 1620 OAKRIDGE

SEPTEMBER 19, 1997
The hearing was called to order at 3:30 p.m. in the 281 Conference Room by Director
of Current Planning Bob Blanchard.
Staff Present: Director Blanchard, Leanne Harter, City Planner.
Others Present: Ron Hovland, Wireless Solutions, Jill Jelinek, Sprint PCS.
Director Blanchard reviewed the procedures set forth in the Land Use Code for the
hearing.
Leanne Harter, City Planner gave a brief staff report stating this was a request to mount
wireless telecommunications equipment on the north, west and east elevations of the
mansard roof of the existing Hampton inn, located at 1620 Oakridge Drive. The
proposal includes the location of nine panel antennae. She stated that the City was
recommending approval of the request.
There was no presentation by the applicant.
There was no public input.
Director Blanchard stated that he would render his written decision within 10 days.
The hearing was closed at 3:10 p.m.
