Dear Ron:
City staff has reviewed the Wireless Telecommunications Equipment Review -
Hampton Inn, 1620 Oakridge Drive, PDP/Final, #20-97 submittal and would
like to offer the following comments.
1. The Zoning Department offered the following comments:
a) If this is approved, it will be necessary for an minor amendment to
be completed for the Hampton Inn.
2. The Current Planning Department offered the following comments:
a) Will there be a GPS unit? If so, please show where it will be located
on the site plan.
b) McMurry Drive is misspelled on the vicinity map.
c) Under the signature block for the Planning and Zoning Approval, it
should read: "Approved by the Administrative Hearing Officer of the
City of Fort Collins..." Also, the "Planning Director" should be replaced
by the "Administrative Hearing Officer."
d) Under the Project Information, please spell out that the zoning
classification HC is Harmony Corridor.
e) Please specify the particular colors in the general note #3 that states
"Antennas will be painted to match existing building."
f) Identify the color and specific material to screen the rooftop
equipment. This must match the appearance of the mansard roof of
the structure.
g) The antennas must be mounted flush against the wall so that they are
not visible from the public view. In addition, please specify the colors
of these antennas. From the elevations, it appears as if the antennas
can be lined up so that they fall within the vertical lines of the roof.
