Q (Citizen): How many parking spaces will there be? R (Applicant): Approximately 75 spaces, that could be used for the future church sanctuary as well. Q (Citizen): What is your anticipated traffic pattern? R (Applicant): We expect traffic to use Timberline and turn onto Nancy Gray for access to drop-off and parking areas. Cars would then pull out the other driveway back onto Nancy Gray and then Timberline. Q (Citizen): How long have you owned the property? R (Applicant): We took control at the first of June. Neighborhood Information Meeting PROJECT: Beebe Christian School DATE: June 22, 2016 PLANNER: Ryan Mounce The neighborhood meeting was attended by one member of the public with the following project. Due to the small size, the meeting was informal in nature, with a summary of discussed project characteristics, comments, and questions presented below: Project Characteristics: ■ Project consists primarily of the new location for the Beebe Christian School, relocating from the current location on Lake Street near the new CSU campus. o Existing school was started in 1927; the site was recently sold and a new location is sought. ■ Project is anticipated to occur in two phases, with the first phase being dedicated to the school functions, and a future phase may bring church sanctuary and lobby areas. ■ School is for grades Pre-K to 8cn ■ Anticipating between 40-60 students. ■ Outdoor amenities will be provided to the west and north of the building (sports fields, playground, areas). ■ Primary building materials are planned as concrete masonry units and stucco. ■ Anticipating 6-8 months for the review of the project; would like to be up and running by the fall of 2017. Questions, Comments & Responses: Key-- C: Comment Q: Question R: Response C (Citizen): I think a school in this location is great and I am in support of the project. Q (Citizen): Is this a private or public school? R (Applicant): It is a private school, but it is open to any students who apply and meet the admission criteria. Q (Citizen): Would you ever want a connection from the site to the north parking/drive aisles? R (Applicant): Not necessarily. We know the original plan approved for that site showed a drive -aisle near the property lines. R (Citizen): That drive aisle was also ripped out recently for the construction of the new office building; there isn't necessarily anything to connect to in that location anymore. Q (Citizen): Will the playground be fenced?
