Box 580 Fort Collins, CO 80522 Dear Dave, This is a request for a variance for the requirement of having a 100 foot tangent between curves in Charlie Lane. This request is made on behalf of Rev. Ed Davis, the pastor of Christ Fellowship Church and of Chris Ray, the managing member of Warray of Fort Collins LLC. Charlie Lane was dedicated and constructed before the two properties were annexed to the City of Fort Collins, The existing water line on the South side of Charlie Lane was also constructed with the present alignment. The centerline radii are 240 feet and the delta is 28157'. The traffic count is very low. There are seven existing houses and three proposed houses using the existing alignment. The church will have a driveway off County Road 9 and a driveway off Charlie Lane West of the curves. The street is a Residential Local Street. We feel the variance is appropriate due to the low traffic count and due to the cost to realign the existing water line, and due to the fact it was approved and constructed while in Larimer County.
