As we outlined previously, Merten Homes needs to complete the following items by the deadline of July 2, 2012 in order to retain the $750,000 CDBG award. 1) Development review approval (based on a Type I administrative hearing) of your upcoming Modification request for Union Plan PDP 2) The completion and approval of an Adjacent Properties Survey, requested by the State Historic Preservation Officer (SHPO). 3) City Urban Renewal Authority (URA) staff confirmation of a current, approved Tax Increment Financing (TIF) application, or approval of a modified application. 4) Submission of updated documents evidencing a sound financial plan and resourcing for the Union Place project. We have not received any progress updates from Merten Homes since the property changed ownership on March 29, 2012. At this point, we are preparing to de -allocate the funds and reprogram them in the Fall 2012 Competetive Process. We .would welcome any communication or updates you have regarding the project.
