Collins, CO 80524 RE: MASON STREET MOTEL # 7-98 Dear Mr. Gooss & Planning Fc, Collins, CO 80525 Fax 970. 223 . 0511 I am writing to inform you as to the progress on this project since the review by the Staff in July. This review requested some significant changes to the plan and some extensive revisions to the previous drainage study. In addition we have been reviewing the project with the Corps of Engineers with respect to a wetlands issue. I believe that we have made significant progress on this project and I am including a copy of the current status of the Site Plan and Landscape Plan for you to see the depth of the changes that we have made. I believe that we have made the changes needed as and are close to completing the work. Even with this progress I am requesting that you allow us an additional thirty days to complete the application. It is anticipated that we can have the issues with this project resolved in this time frame and allow the review of the Staff to be more efficient. At this time most of the comments have been addressed. I think that with this additional time all of these comments can be addressed to the satisfaction of the staff. I would appreciate your review of my request for additional time to make a better submission which should save you and the Staff time in this review. Therefore, the new deadline will be October 30, 2000. This will hopefully give your development team sufficient time to resolve outstanding issues.
