The erosion control report states that silt fence, straw bale dikes are to be used to accomplish erosion/sediment control. Neither is shown on the plan, and they are not a part of the calculations. What is the plan?? 2. The plan needs to have details for silt fencing and straw bale dikes if they are utilized. " 3. Delete the last note from the standard erosion control notes (Other notes as required by individual developments. Second Submittal Comments 1. Previous comment #2 has not been addressed. NOTE: Straw bale barriers will work, if properly installed and maintained, at a pond outlet. It is far better to use a pond outlet gravel filter at this location. Please refer to the redlined report and plans for additional review comments. As soon as I receive his comments, I will forward those on to you, and at this time, staff has not formulated a recommendation regarding the Alternative Compliance. d) Additional landscaping is required at the corner, adjacent to the curb and located out of the site distance requirements. e) Please add general notes regarding site lighting and bike parking. f) Please define the height of the fence. g) Please change the signature blocks as shown on the site plan. At final compliance, when mylars are signed, it is approval by the Current Planning Director rather than the Planning and Zoning Board and the signature blocks have been revised to reflect this. This completes the review comments at this time. Additional comments may be forthcoming as the various departments and reviewing agencies continue to review this request. Please provide a written response to each of the above stated comments with the submittal of plan revisions. The Zoning Department offered the following: a) Bike racks are needed in the bike parking space. b) Please provide a handicapped ramp at McClelland/Swallow if one doesn't already exist. c) You may want to separate the site and landscape plans as it is hard to distinguish specifics with everything on it. 2. Tim Sagen with the Light and Power Utility is currently reviewing the alternative compliance request for site lighting. As soon as his comments are received, I will forward them on to you. 3. Comments from the Engineering Department are attached. 4. Comments for the Stormwater Utility are attached. An additional round of review will be necessary so as to address outstanding Stormwater comments, as well as those from other departments. 5. Comments from the Water/Wastewater Utility are attached. 6. The Current Planning Department offered the following comments: a) Please calculate the amount of interior parking lot landscaping and include this figure on the plan. b) The crosswalks must be enhanced.
