Dear Corky,
May 7, 1998
Staff has reviewed the request for the Putnam School, Site Plan Advisory Review, and offers the
following comments.
1. Please see the attached redlined plans and comments from Stormwater and
Water/Wastewater.
2. The Engineering Department requests that plans be provided for the curb and gutter and
sidewalk being proposed on Cherry Street. The plans need to show how drainage will
flow and what the slope of gutter will be.
3. Please show the limits of asphalt repairs with elevations of gutter lip to existing asphalt
edge.
4. The Utility Plans should show all property and easement lines.
5. The Utility Plans should show all water and sewer mains and services.
6. Be sure to check with Light and Power regarding the proper clearance specifications for
the electrical transformer enclosure. Proper clearances must be maintained. Please
contact Doug Martine, 221-6700, for these specifications.
7. The Poudre Fire Authority will require a fire lane around the building. This fire lane must
be visible by painting and signage and shall remain unobstructed. A plan depicting this fire
lane should be presented to Ron Gonzales, Fire Prevention Bureau, Poudre Fire Authority.
If a fire lane cannot provide the required emergency access all the way around, then this
facility will be required to install an automatic fire extinguishing system.
8. The building will be required to have a manual fire alarm system based on the E-1
Occupancy.
9. The crosswalk across the driveway entrance to the new parking lot will need to be re -
striped.
