It was recently brought to Vmy attention3hat Poudre School District didz'not follow established procedures
for having building plans for the Putnam Elementary School Remodel`and Addition and the new VIPS
Building Project submitted toithe Planning and Zoning: Board for review in a timely manner: I
As you know, welare certainly aware of the proper procedures to ha' 4items placed on the Planning and
Zoning Board's agenda for review. Beginning in 1992 and througWcompletion of.;PSD's bond issue;
building projects, we submitted 26 plans to the Planning and Zoning Board for approval and comments.
We have revised our intemal!procedures to ensure that all future-PSD`buildin`g projects follow established
Planning-andZoning Board procedures for review -and approval _ I `
Currently, I am' working,with:the:City Planning:Department,on the Mountain -Vista Subarea Plan. We look
forward to working with the City P-lanning,Department.and.all.other -City. entities as we proceed into the
next century. These unique.opportun'ities 'will ensure-thatwe llove•forward for'the'benefit of all citizens of
Fort Collins.
