Dear Resident:
The Planning and Zoning Board of the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, on Thursday,
December 17, 1998", at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers", City Hall West, 300
LaPorte Avenue, will hold a public hearing on two proposed projects in your
neighborhood. The proposed projects are commonly known as the Larimer County
Justice Center and the Civic Center Parking Structure, #37-98 & 35-98.
The parking structure would be a 5 story, 305,600 square foot structure containing 903
parking spaces located at the southeast corner of LaPorte Avenue and North Mason
Street. This building would contain 5 levels of parking and multi -tenant retail space on
the ground floor along Mason Street.
The new Larimer County Justice Center would be a 5 story building with 170,211 square
feet of floor area; located at the southwest corner of LaPorte Avenue and Mason Street.
Both the Planning and Zoning- Board and the City Planning Staff consider your input on
this matter, as well as your neighbor's input, an extremely important element in the City's
review of this proposal. If you are unable to attend the public hearing, but would like to
provide input, written comments are welcome.
Please Note: Due to the number of projects being reviewed by the Board, there is no
guarantee this item will be heard on the date advertised. For the benefit of those
attending the meeting, the Board typically sets their schedule at the beginning of the
meeting.
